The spirit goes into the cask clear and comes out amber. Everything in between is oak, time, and the slow give-and-take of the Highland air.

Filled into charred ex-sherry and ex-bourbon oak, the spirit draws its colour and half its flavour from the wood. Every year a little evaporates to the angels, and what stays behind grows deeper, rounder, and unmistakably amber.
